NFA specialises in the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of BACnet intelligent building control systems. We are able to offer total turnkey control packages to architects, consulting engineers, developers, specifiers and mechanical engineers.
We have over 27 years’ experience of designing complete building management systems for controlling the environment within all types of buildings. Our systems can control temperature, carbon dioxide (CO2) levels and humidity, creating the perfect environment. Our systems manage the distribution of air throughout the building, (for example by operating fans or opening/closing dampers) with local room controls to achieve the desired room temperature. Our systems can also monitor the level of human-generated CO2, mixing outside air with exhaust air to increase the amount of fresh air while minimising heat/cooling losses.
Effective control of your building’s energy provides many opportunities for cost savings, often with little or no investment. Many building owners have benefited from surprisingly large energy savings, which were achieved by making simple adjustments of existing control system settings.
NFA understands what can go wrong within a building over time, the damaging implications it might have to a Building Energy Management System (BEMS) and the buildings energy use. It also realises the detrimental effect it might have on the occupants’ comfort and efficiency.
An Energy Controls Audit is the first step to getting your building back in control – but we also know that in order to get ongoing savings it should not end there. We will review the way the building is being used and identify opportunities where energy savings can be made.
As a BMS integrator, we are able to offer advice over system design and ancillary component selection – and can mix and match the most appropriate combination of elements.
NFA also provides services such as panel building and electrical installation and can deliver fully integrated packages, which in addition to building controls, include fire, CCTV, security and other systems.
Building Energy Management Systems (or BEMS) are computer-based systems that help manage, control and monitor building technical services (HVAC, lighting etc.) and the energy consumption of devices used by the building. They provide the information and the tools that building managers need both to understand the energy usage of their buildings and to control and improve their buildings’ energy performance.
By applying a range of HVAC control and monitoring routines, a BEMS is capable of operating the building services in strict accordance with the demand, thereby avoiding unnecessary use of energy.
NFA provides system design, supply, installation and servicing for Building Management System. To request a quotation please contact us. If you are unsure of your requirements and would like to have a no obligation discussion, then also you can contact us.
